Welcome aboard!
The cruise industry is huge...and growing. We can all imagine putting on a pair of shorts and sailing around the world. It’s romantic. It’s fun¬¬¬¬. It’s getting paid for summer vacation.
Well, no.
I’ve been in the cruise industry for over 20 years so I’m not comfortable thinking of it as “summer vacation”. It’s a job; sometimes a career. I take it seriously. It’s hard work making sure that people have fun.
We do not guarantee employment.
What we DO guarantee is that we will give you some basic skills and advice that will make you more qualified to acquire a variety of public-contact jobs on any cruise line in the world and that we will assist you with the application process.
By the way, did I mention that there is no job on earth that is more fun, more laughter-filled or more team and friendship oriented?
Almost, sort of, like “summer vacation”!
Job Opportunities
There is a wide range of job opportunities on cruise ships. All positions will expect friendly, outgoing, customer service-oriented applicants.
Positions include: Entertainment cruise staff, Gift shops, Pursers dept (front desk, administration), salons, shore excursions, Internet services, security and so on…… Imagine a hotel resort at sea and imagine all the jobs and more available to you!
It Ain’t Over ‘Til ...
You say it is! We will network and search for jobs for you. We will work with you to make your résumé cruise ship ready, advise how and when to apply, and train you to be ready when the job offer comes.
Our contact with you doesn’t end when the seminar does. We’ll always be here to answer any questions about your application process and assist in any way we can to help you find work on a Cruise Ship.
